Christian Aid Week 12-18th May 2024

Ways to give:
1. Christian Aid Red Envelope Collection
Youth groups, their leaders and volunteers are collecting envelopes from the following roads: Birmingham Road, Mytton Road, Smiths Way, Plank Lane, Vicarage Lane, St Blaise Avenue, Woodlands Avenue, Jaques Close, Orton Close, Mercer Avenue, Attleboro Lane, the White City and from as many other roads as possible.
2. Christian Aid Red Envelope Drop off Points.
Please return envelopes to one of the following by 18th May.
Water Orton Methodist Chapel: Grey door letter box. Also any Saturday 10.30am to 12.30pm.
St Peters and St Paul’s Parish Church: Open Tuesdays and Saturdays 10a.m. – 11.00a.m; Sundays 8.30—12.30pm.
3. Just Giving This is the link to our Just Giving site:

Kingfisher foodbank donations

The church is open 9.30-11.30am  on Tuesdays and 10-11am on Saturdays to receive food donations for the Water Orton Foodbank. Approximately once a month, the remaining groceries are taken to the Kingfisher Foodbank, Smiths Wood.

Juice/Squash
Fruit Tinned
Custard/Rice Pudding
Savoury Snacks, Crisps etc
Tinned Meat & Fish
Curry/Pasta Sauce
Tinned Soup
Tinned Veg
Toilet Paper
Toiletries - Shampoo, Shower Gel, Deodorant, Toothpaste and Hand Soap
Carrier bags

Other items required:
Sponge Pudding, Hand Sanitizer.
Also Cleaning Products and soap powder.
Tinned Tomatoes,  Powdered Mash Potatoes
Biscuits or Snacks, Snacks & Treats

Beans and Pasta
